Today, the annual Festival of the Lost event returns to Destiny 2, featuring festive masks for Guardians to wear and challenges for them to complete for rewards. During this in-game event, available to all, players can obtain the new Legendary Heavy Burst Arc Shotgun, Arcane Embrace, and ornament sets inspired by the Festival of the Lost. Last year, the Destiny community voted for their favorite ornament sets, resulting in Warlocks and Hunters choosing the Evil Warlock ornaments and Titans choosing the Good Warlock ornaments.
Eva Levante has special surprises this year, selling Exotic class items to Final Form owners in exchange for one Sinister Engram and 2,500 Candy, which can be earned by completing challenges during Festival of the Lost. This gear will come in random combinations, and players can purchase it as many times as they like to get new combinations with each reacquisition. Players who have activated the Exotic class item attunement and purchase the items from Eva will receive a combo with the guaranteed attuned perk. The Superblack shader will also return and can be obtained as a reward for achieving the Ghostwriter title, which requires completing 15 challenges on the event card.
For players interested in Festival of the Lost merchandise, those who complete the Haunted Sectors playlist event challenge by November 19 at 1:59 PM ET can purchase the new Headless T-shirt from the Bungie Store through Bungie Rewards.
Act I of Destiny 2: Returnal is underway, pitting players against Fikrul’s army of undead Scorn. Guardians join Mithrax, Corvo, and Eido in the fight against the Scorn, with new features and content including tonic crafting, Onslaught: Salvation, the new Vesper’s Domain dungeon, and more.
