    KRAFTON reveals its plans for 2024, including the release of new games

    KRAFTON, Inc. has revealed its plans for 2024, which will focus on four distinct segments: new game launches, enhanced publishing services, expanding the PUBG brand, and integrating AI technology into the development process. This multifaceted plan from KRAFTON symbolizes a year of innovation and growth in the gaming industry.

    New Game Launches

    Following the success of the premieres shown during the recent G-STAR event in South Korea, KRAFTON announced that Dark and Darker Mobile and inZOI are scheduled for release in 2024. These are additions to the more than 20 titles currently in active development, including the next game in the Subnautica series, Project Black Budget, and Dinkum Mobile. KRAFTON aims to release new and compelling titles annually and will have much more to share about this exciting year of 2024 in the coming months.

    Enhanced Publishing Capabilities

    To support this robust pipeline of new games, KRAFTON will expand its publishing scope to be fully engaged in every stage of the creative process, from origination to commercialization. To facilitate this, the company is reorganizing its existing resources to make its publishing divisions more agile and responsive. The goal of this strategic shift is to establish a more dynamic environment within KRAFTON to quickly introduce new intellectual properties to the market.

    Expanding the PUBG Brand and Presence in India

    KRAFTON also seeks to expand PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, supporting the brand for long-term growth. Licensing strategies will help enhance the appeal of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS as a dynamic and constantly evolving platform that remains a major contender in the battle royale genre seven years after its launch.

    This work will be driven by a comprehensive brand strategy that expands the PUBG product lineup and an increase in development efforts with the support of internal and external studios. KRAFTON also plans to strengthen its presence in India in 2024, aiming to dominate the market with BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) and expand its publishing and esports activities in the region.

    Innovating Game Development with AI

    Finally, KRAFTON is placing a strong emphasis on incorporating deep learning technology into its game development processes. Recognized as a transformative force in the gaming industry, this technology is expected to revolutionize production efficiency and foster innovative, user-focused experiences. With KRAFTON’s expertise in high-level AI research and development, the integration with deep learning is poised to significantly advance the company’s technological capabilities and generate market impact.

    KRAFTON will discuss each of these initiatives throughout the year.
